Sliding Fee Scale

If you seriously question your ability to pay for care, chances are you qualify for gifted care based on this sliding fee scale. Jess’ time, expenses (including paying for childcare), and care have value. You have a right to have say in how your death unfolds. If you know you want the support of an end-of-life doula, please decide at what level you feel most comfortable paying for services.

Please consider contributing to the community care fund if you have the means.

  • You are able to meet your material needs easily (i.e. shelter, food, other forms of care). You do not experience significant financial strain.

  • Community support makes deathcare within your reach. You would not be able to afford your material needs and pay for care at the full rate.

  • 1.) You do not have any resources to contribute to end-of-life care.

    OR

    2.) You are due reparations from harmful experiences from this life or those of your ancestors.

  • Please contribute if have the means to ensure others can access quality deathcare. Your contribution ensures Jess can continue to offer a client-determined sliding fee scale in this way. Jess links funds to actual service packages for those who cannot afford it. This means you know your money is directly supporting a real person’s end-of-life journey. As appropriate, Jess will facilitate a legacy connection between you and the person receiving gifted services and/or a ritual offering of gratitude will be offered as part of services.
