The word solstice comes from Latin for sol (sun) and sistere (to stand still). Grief seems to ask us to pause the sun in the sky, to stand particularly still this winter. This grief support circle is for anyone 18+ who has experienced the death of someone significant to them. We will process grief openly, explore supportive routines and rituals, and learn together in a community built on safety, compassion, and honesty.
